Here's one of the things I love about our church (Tampa Covenant Church)... BIG on ADOPTION! And why not? We are, afterall, "adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ..." (Ephesians 1:4,5). TCC goes above and beyond with the support they provide to families going through the "process of adoption". This weekend, there's an Adoption Fundraiser to help friends of ours who are about to adopt 2 little boys from Haiti. Blessed little boys, Samy and Gino... they've got parents who are dying to get them home, 2 big sisters who CAN'T WAIT to be their family, and a whole church full of people who are anxiously awaiting to see these boys with their Forever Family!Here's the McGregor Contribution to the silent auction: a box full of handmade items, including 24 cards, altered paint cans, notebook, paperbag album, domino magnets, gift bags with tags, and altered altoid tin.
fun note: The Title of this Blog... So, Carly wanted to "help out" by writing out what our dinners were going to be each night on a little menu sheet she hung on the frig... when we got to Saturday I mentioned that we'd be eating dinner at church for the fundraiser. Ryan and I had a good chuckle over her spelling when we read over it a couple of hours later! Here's hoping she doesn't think there are scooters involved on Saturday!
